It’s a slightly salty vetiver, green and gourmand with better-than-vanilla tonka beans.The hazelnut in this comes across as coffee beans to me.What are the others that you like from the line.This vetiver still comes across as green.The fragrance has that abstract sheerness that it appears that only Ellena can do successfully.Umbra gets smokier and smokier with wear.Luckily, Hermess allows to do the combining so I ended up getting 2 Vetiver Tonka (one for me, one for another perfumista), Rose Ikebana and (I know, not too many people like it) Brin de Reglisse.It’s a gourmand vetiver; hence, it’s probably my favorite vetiver.It’s a vetiver caramel latte and I like to wear it during the day HERMES PARIS ≡ SEPHORA.
The production was apparently discontinued.As in most of this house's scents, this shows quality materials, stays close to skin and lasts a long time for a summer scent.The truth is that I generally don't enjoy sweet fruity scents that much, but here fruits are under the flower control.I can feel the a bit of transparent tuberose and jasmin, and a woody base under the vetiver.I deeply long for the existence of this other kind of extraordinary creations.Please Hermes, bring it back, there is a huge desert of millions of new extra sweet fruity summer scents out there each summer that everyone else seems to love and I can only occasionally like.The scent is a fresh and dry floral powdery perfume in which narcissus and vetiver are guarding to keep it from being sweet, something I really appreciate.In my opinion, the rough tartness effect of his summer scent is at the same time cooling, unusual, unique and what makes me love Amazone Eau de Fraicheur's even more than I do love her older beloved sister Amazone, which is woodier and richer with a rose note (not present here) and which I use the rest of seasons but I dislike in warmer days.
